On The House | Online Giveaway

ez2BSocial was engaged to create and implement an online giveaway for On The House with the Carey Brothers – an online resource for DIY and home improvement projects, plus a well known national radio show. The snow blower giveaway, sponsored by Craftsman, was launched November 21, 2014 and ended December 5.  The giveaway of Craftsman’s Quiet Technology Snowblower was promoted through:

  • Twitter posts
  • Facebook status updates and a giveaway page
  • The On The House Weekly e-newsletter
  • During On The House with the Carey Brothers’ radio show
  • Google+ posts
  • blogger outreach


During the two week giveaway we saw:

  • over 3,500 unique entries, with 10,700 plus entries
  • a dramatic increase in twitter followers (895)
  • an increase in Facebook Page Fans of 1,200 plus
  • generating over 206,000 impressions
  • website unique visitors increased by 98.99%
  • website sessions increased by 126.23%
  • the site bounce rate dropped by 576%
  • newsletter subscribers during the period increased by 956


It was a very successful and engaging 2 week campaign that produced active engagement and exposure online for both On The House with The Carey Brothers and Craftsman.
